Our largest drone is the Great Shark VTOL platform. This is a 3.5 meter wingspan aircraft with four VTOL motors. The motors provide enough lift for the plane to carry up to 5 Kg of payload. The total weight of the aircraft is 23 Kg. We have used this for coastal mapping as well as beyond line of site flights. It is able to stay in the air for up to 4 hours depending on its payload.
This aircraft runs with Ardupilot and includes numerous safety elements such as triple redundant inertia sensors, GPS sensors and power supplies.
The DJI Matrice M600 is our main work-horse drone. This drone can carry many different payloads including our Scout Lidar, Photographic Pod, Ronin Gimbal and lots more.
The M600 is a six motor copter which allows up to 2 motors to stop and it can still fly. Along with its triple redundant sensors, GPS and RTK GPS, it is able to out perform most other drones of its class.
The Agras comes as a completely automated spraying solution for farming and agriculture. The tank can hold up to 20 litres of liquid, either water or a fertaliser mix, and can run for up to 35 minutes.
This drone is available for any agricultural work including weed spraying, fertalising or solar panel cleaning.
DJI Inspire 2
We have had our Inspire for a number of years now and it is still one of the better photography drones. While the Mavic drones provide an excellent platform for photography, the Inspire can accomodate larger form factor cameras and includes a separate gimbal for the photographer to control. This ensures the best photographic results.
DJI Mavic 2 Pro
Many of our photography jobs are completed using the Mavic 2 Pro. This drone is able to be flown in smaller spaces and can produce very high quality images and video.
One of our primary use for the Mavic 2 Pro is to produce 3d Mapping using photogrammetry. The Mavic has proven its reliability and convenience.
Our Gryphon Dynamix is our heavy lifter. This is mostly used for flying our Phoenix Scout Lidar unit which weighs around 2Kg.
The octocopter has eight motors enabling redundancy for urban environments.
